ML Awards 2017
Roberts Jackson is delighted to have been named Law Firm of the Year (Medium) at the Manchester Legal Awards yesterday.

The awards, hosted by the Manchester Law Society, took place at the Midland Hotel where runners-up and winners celebrated into the early hours.

One of the fastest-growing law firms in the UK, Roberts Jackson has grown from four people in 2009, to over 200 today. In 2014 Roberts Jackson became one of the first law firms in the UK to become an ABS (alternative business structure), attracting a £15m cash injection from a private equity firm. The success of the new structure and investment is evident in the annual results. The firm has increased its turnover from £2.5m in 2012 to a staggering £11.2m in the past financial year, with a projection for 2016/17 of at least £12.5m.

Roberts Jackson is unique in that the firm specialises exclusively in industrial disease. Where other firms diversify, Roberts Jackson focuses solely on this area, allowing it to build an unparalleled expertise in industrial disease.

Roberts Jackson’s growth in such a short space of time is quite remarkable. The firm has expanded into new offices totalling over 23,000 square feet to accommodate its growth and is now one of the biggest employers in Wilmslow. There is a genuine buzz around the firm and that comes from sharing the success of securing justice for people who have suffered illness due to the workplace, and for their bereaved families.

Staff pride themselves on their cutting edge knowledge of medical and legal knowledge, undergoing 250 hours of training annually, provided by experts in their fields.

Oliver Jackson, Director and co-founder of the firm, said:

“Everyone at Roberts Jackson should be very proud today as everyone plays their part in this tremendous success.”
