Roberts Jackson have secured short listings for a further three awards at this year’s Law Society Excellence Awards, adding to a total number of 7 award short listings this year.

This year the legal cream of the crop will gather at London’s prestigious Park Plaza Hotel in Westminster to celebrate excellence in the legal profession and to see which firms and individuals have what it takes to be crowned winner.

In recent years Roberts Jackson has been short listed for the same awards in such categories as “Training & Development” and “Junior Lawyer of the Year”. This time round we have picked up short listings in the following categories:

  • Excellence in Learning and Development
  • Karen Jackson – Legal Business Woman of the Year
  • Lorna Vanderkamp – Solicitor of the Year – Private Practice

Notably, CEO and co-founder of the firm, Karen Jackson has received a short listing for Legal Business Woman of the Year. Karen and her husband Oliver have grown the firm from 2 people to just over 200 members of staff in the last 5 years and contribute massively to the legal industry. Karen sits on the board at the Manchester Law Society and has previously chaired the Personal Injury conference which takes place every year.

The Law Society Excellence awards sponsored by Maserati are due to be held on 9th October 2014 the Westminster venue will hold host to this year’s ceremony, where in the winners will be announced. The firm must congratulate everyone who has been shortlisted, as this year’s Law Society Excellence Awards have seen an exceptional turnout for nominations.
