Lorna McGlone was the first Solicitor to join Roberts Jackson in 2009, having grown successfully with the firm Lorna now is an Associate Director and heads our legal team. Upon promotion in December 2011 Lorna became one of the youngest Partner's in the region.
Lorna is primarily responsible for the performance and professional development of the firm's 75 fee earners. The role involves liaising with the Co-Directors, developing and achieving KPIs.
In her role as Head of Legal Lorna is also in charge of leading the firm's Associates and 19 Team Leaders.
Lorna is an expert in the field of Industrial Disease Litigation. Her particular specialism and expertise is in running complex occupational dermatitis and asthma claims, regularly settling hundreds of settlements for client's suffering with conditions related to exposure to irritant and harmful substances within the workplace.
Lorna has taken on and has won many cases which other firms have refused due to her proactive and hands-on approach to disease litigation. She is committed to raising awareness in the field of Industrial Disease and has drafted many articles for various charities including the National Eczema Society and the Latex Allergy Group.
Lorna is responsible and accountable for the firm's Business Development Strategy, this involves securing, managing and overseeing several key business accounts which has contributed to the vast growth of the firm.
